I'm thinking of foregoing the traditional Christmas card this year in favor
of a holiday postcard. I figure that the postage will be less expensive and,
since I always write a brief message, anyway, I may as well hand-write my
holiday greeting and dispense with the printed one.

Have any of you done anything like this or have received them? How did/do
you feel about it?

I'm thinking of a red-bordered card with green ink.

Sounds delightful and economical.
